I had a one hour massage with Jo and I will not hesitate to say it has been my best massage I have ever had. Her pressure and intuitive nature (along with 14 years experience) left me feeling so relaxed. Her heated table was so comfortable. The aromatherapy helped transcend the experience. First time with Jo was 5 months ago for a lash lift. She mentioned most of her customers see her for massages so I retuned today for a massage. I should add that I live about 30 minutes away which is why I have not scheduled to see her sooner for a service as I try to drive the least amount as possible and keep all my services in my area for that reason. After today, I will definitely rerun to make the worthwhile drive to see Jo. Today I had a last lift and massage. I had the massage first and the last lift second. I was so relaxed. I dozed off. I will be recommending her to my friends and family. She is so sweet, her facility is so clean and comfortable and her she gives the best massages. Highly recommend!

My husband gave me a gift certificate for a 45-minute massage for Christmas. It's been a rather hectic spring so I finally got around to making an appointment with Jo. Beauty Balance by Jo It's located in Phoenix Suites on 17th Street. The location is very convenience since it is not far from the "Orange Crush" so all of the major highways are close. I had a membership at Burke Williams for well over a year and always enjoyed their massages. But the cost kept going up and I just didn't feel I wanted to continue to commit to that much money every month. I was pleasantly surprised when I laid down on Jo's massage table! It was much more comfortable than the one used at Butke Williams! The room ambiance was just as nice, with soft lighting, soft music and ocean sound. There is also a small diffuser misting water in the air. Jo goes a step beyond Burke Williams as she has Lindt chocolates offered in a dish! We had discussed the level of pressure I preferred and whether I had any areas of concern. She advised that I could undress to the level of my comfort. I thought this was very sensitive of her as some people are uncomfortable with being nude for a massage. Personally, I prefer to be nude but others may not and I liked that she gave that option. The massage that Joe gave me was every bit as good as the massages I received at Burke Williams. She used the right amount of pressure and I felt totally relaxed afterwards. I highly recommend Jo if you are looking for a good massage at a reasonable price. I really like that she didn't talk during the massage or try to sell me anything afterwards. She simply gives a great massage and a nice smile!

Booked a one hour massage with Jo and had a great experience! I like how she asks a lot of questions to really understand what you're looking to get out of the massage. I asked for medium to firm pressure which she definitely gave and I felt like she got all of my knots out and it was a really relaxing massage. Overall highly recommend!

I like to think I have pretty good skin, but even then, the maintenance recommended and added pampering enhanced the look and feel of my skin. Now, there are misconceptions related to dermaplaning & i myself was a skeptic, but with the slow smooth growth and appearance of the peach fuzz is almost unnoticeable. Honestly, super grateful I had this first time experience with Joana. Her expertise outshines skepticism. It's a positive sense of relief and her hand is light as a feather. She goes to town on the extractions and then while whatever mask is working it's magic on your face, she gives arm and neck massage AND scalp massage (which is my fav!) by the time your out, you'll be relaxed and best of all, your skin will feel light, fresh, and glowing! I've gone to Joana for facials and massages for many years. Her facials are amazing and she uses really good products. She takes her time to treat and nourish your skin and genuinely wants to deliver results. Her medspa background really shows. Her massages are also amazing! She's one of the best massage therapists and knows what you need without you saying much. What differentiates her is that she has great instincts and bedside manners. I ask for relaxation but also treatment type massages and she always comes through. Punctual, attentive, and super polite. I always look forward to getting a treatment with her!

She made a lasting impression on me with her sweet personality. I get emails from her with promotions she has going on and I do not recieve them super frequently to where they are lowkey annoying. Instead, her emails are a nice reminder that if I need something and for a great price, her services are there. I suggest checking out what services she offers and treat yourself to one or more.

I've been searching for a massage therapist who does cupping , incorporating deep tissue, AND full body massage due to the kind of work I do. My repetitive motion and body straining with work, I was deseprately in need! I found Jo!!! She was so pleasant from the get-go, friendly and professional!! Super cute place and sanitary with such a relaxing environment. I loved how attentive she is about my problem areas and worked through them with me throughout the massage. I like firm and hard deep tissue even though it hurts, it hurts sooooo good and she did an AMAZING job! I came in for a 60 min massage, which I'm definitely going to do the 75 or 90 mins next time!!
